Description:

As a Teacher Assistant, you will support the lead teacher in implementing engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans and activities. Your responsibilities will include supervising and interacting with children during playtime to ensure their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through positive guidance. You will help maintain a clean and organized classroom, prepare materials for daily activities, and assist with routines such as mealtimes and nap times. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with parents about their children’s progress and experiences and participate in team meetings and professional development to enhance your skills in early childhood education. We are looking for creative individuals who are passionate about fostering a love of learning in young children.

Qualifications:

 

  • A minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Must be willing to obtain fingerprint clearance and complete CPR training.
  • Previous experience working with young children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with toddlers.
Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
Preferred Education Level: Some College Credits
