Pre-K Lead Teacher

This is a lead teacher position in Pre-K classroom:

Schedule:

·8 am-3:30 pm

·Day shift

·Monday to Friday

You will have all holidays from the DOE calendar. Summer vacation, Winter Recess, and Spring Recess.

Work Location: Elmhurst, Queens

Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who's caring, passionate and with motivation to learn. Candidates with similar experiences are preferred.

Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement developmentally appropriate and Creative curriculum-aligned weekly unit plans and daily lesson plans.
* Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Collaboratively work with Assistant Teachers.
* Work with parents to promote understanding of the growth and development of their child; effectively communicate with parents, verbally and in writing, throughout the year.
* Maintain accurate record keeping including scholar attendance, developmental progress, and daily health inspections.
* Maintain an organized classroom and take responsibility for the upkeep of the classroom's educational equipment, materials, and appearance.
