Description:

Here’s what an Education Director’s day looks like:

Lead and inspire your team of dedicated educators in the implementation of our unique and original curriculum
Safety is our number one pillar! Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through adherence to our daily protocols
Create community by spearheading all parent communication and establish strong relationships with our both the children and parents
Support enrollment initiatives designed to grow your community
Use your keen eye for detail while working in collaboration with the Manager of Compliance to ensure city and state agency paperwork and class rosters up-to-date and organized
Collaborate with the Education Director team and reflect on programming to ensure that we are current in our pedagogy, developmental benchmarks, curriculum, and approach to learning
May Instruct up to 25 hours per week within home center as needed

Qualifications:

This job is for you if you:

Have a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field required
Have a Master's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
Have a NY state teaching certification in early childhood education (birth-2) or special education (birth-2) required
Have a Minimum 2 years of lead teaching experience in an early childhood classroom, or in Pre-k, Kindergarten, or grades 1-2 required
Have 3-5 years of management/leadership experience
Have Strong leadership, hospitality, and organizational skills
Are a lifelong learner!

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education Level: Master's Degree
