Description:

Seeking a full-time Assistant teacher with experience with infants and toddlers.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant teacher responsibilities are as follows:

- Assist in daily curriculum, planning activities, daily child reports

-Maintaining the daycare clean, safe and organized

- Assist in diaper changing and potty training

-Fast paced and multitasker

-Reliable and Punctual

- Follow all health and safety protocols

- Assist in monitoring children during group or outdoor activities

-Attend required trainings, meetings and school events

- Work cooperatively with team, families and affiliates

- Must be able to adjust work schedule as needed by the program

Qualifications:

Assistant Teacher must have the following:

- HS Diploma/ Equivalent, Associates Degree or CDA

- Must be 21 years old

-Minimum of 2 years experience with Infant and Toddlers

- Available Full-time

- Must live in Brooklyn, NY

- Must be patient, Flexible, loving and multitasker

- Must be willing to go through a series of background check, fingerprints and a complete physical

- Must be willing to train

- Health and safety training, ACES, CPR and First aid training are required

- Good interpersonal communication and written skills

- Computer literate

- Positive demeanor
