Description:

We are a child-friendly preschool in Sheepshead Bay, Ave U Area. 

We have an opening for a UPK (Universal Pre-K) teacher assistant (Hours: 8:15AM – 3:30 PM) 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting teachers in carrying out individual or small group activities with children.

  • Provide instructional services to students under the general supervision of a teacher.
  • Work as a team member to create and maintain a classroom environment that meets the developmental needs of children and encourages their independence.
  • Model developmentally appropriate practices, participate in team meetings and complete relevant paperwork.

Qualifications:

Please respond ONLY if you meet the requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience working in a preschool setting
