Description:

Full-Time Assistant Teacher with Early Childhood experience. An Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education; Bachelor's degree is preferred. (Degree can be in a related field). Assistant teacher is able to work in either a 3K or Pre-K classroom. Also, the candidate must be available to work the hours from 8:00 to 6:00. The teaching staff has a rotating schedule, therefore, the schedule is flexible. It may be 8:00 to 3:30 or 10:30 to 6:00.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in the classroom. Working as a team is essential. The Assistant Teacher needs to be or become familiar with the "Creative Curriculum" (Can be trained if needed). Also, applicant should be computer knowledgeable. There will be some work to be done on a computer. The most important responsibility is to be to a nurturing caregiver, demonstrates patience, kindness, and makes children feel safe and loved.

Qualifications:

At minimum and Associates degree in Early Childhood or a related field with some experience working in Early Childhood. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required. Ideally, we would like a candidate who is continuing her studies pursuing to become a certified teacher.

Minimum Education Level: Associate's Degree

Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
