Description:

We are looking for a motivated, Mandarin-speaking educator to be an Assistant Teacher in our 1s or 2s classrooms. We are seeking assistant teachers who believe in our philosophy, and who are able to implement a student-centered and differentiated instruction classroom. Ability to work collaboratively, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work closely with families are essential. Experience and knowledge of the Reggio Approach and Emergent curriculum are a plus.

Requirements:

· Fingerprints from DOI, be willing to have background checked, Child Abuse Recognition Workshop, Infection Disease Workshop and obtain a medical.

· Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma required. A bachelors degree desired; initial or professional certification, or currently enrolled in an education or related field leading to certification

· Maintain a nurturing and safe environment for children

· Excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to work and communicate with children, families, and colleagues

· Experience in early childhood preferred
