Description:

Preschool Facility seeking a full time LEAD TEACHER for children who has experience with children 3 months -5 years old. This is a full-time position and the hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and are not flexible.

Responsibilities:

Lead Teacher Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Must be PUNCTUAL.
Must meet all applicable licensing regulations.
Must have experience working with children.
Must be creative, able to organize activities and lessons, and bring new fun ideas to the program.
Attend to the personal care of children such as, diaper changing, potty training, meal and snack preparation.
Maintain the cleanliness of the classroom such as, cleaning tables and chairs, toys, bathroom, sweeping, mopping.
Supervise Indoor/Outside activities.
Read stories to the children.
Assist in all aspects of classroom activities.
Must be energetic, outgoing, and reliable.
Must love children and have an unlimited amount of patience.
Must be nurturing & have a lot of patience.
Must be able to work unsupervised.

Qualifications:

The following will be required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in (Early) Childhood Education (ECE) or in a related field AND NYS Certification, or
  • Bachelor's Degree in (Early) Childhood Education (ECE) or in a related field AND 2 years experience,

or

  • Study Plan eligible.

First Aid/CPR Certified
Mandated Reporter Certificate
Infectious Disease Certificate
Shaken Baby Syndrome/SIDS Certificate
