Responsibilities:

The teacher will be responsible for the follwoing...

  • Preparing and implementing daily lesson plans in accordance with center curriculum, monthly newsletters, progress reports.
  • Excellent and effective communications to interact with parents in a professional manner.
  • Participate in center activities and events.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, educational, nurturing and clean environment.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings.
  • Adhere to NYSOCFS regulations.

Qualifications:

Teacher - Pre-K

An Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field, or a Child Development Associate credential or other Office-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period.

or

9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field, with a planof study leading to: a Child Development Associate Credential, or an Associate’s degree inEarly Childhood, Child Development or related field

or 

Bachelors in Education or related field working toward a Masters

.
