Responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program for young children that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child as well as providing educational instruction and ensuring the children are clean and kept safe.
Set up and maintain a well organized, safe, and attractive classroom environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children. Develop activities to stimulate the children and promote literacy and early education.
Be able to work as a team member with classroom staff to plan and implement the daily program of activities based on principles of child development and following the guidelines of both the Office of Children and Family services and Superkids Christian Daycare/Preschool.
Develop a positive relationship with each child and further the development of each child’s self esteem and self discipline. Observe each child daily to assess skills, interests and needs and use this information to facilitate learning and growth.
Qualifications: CDA in Infant/Toddler OR 1 year Experience with a plan of study for either a CDA or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education OR Associates degree with 9 early childhood education credits B-2nd
Willing to be fingerprinted and background check.
Must be loving, kind, responsible and dependable
