Description:

Early Childhood Educator to work in well recognized private early learning center.  To work in a small setting with ages 3-5 to promote school readiness and meet the NY Early Learning Standards.   

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, alligned with NY Early Learning Standards.  Assess student's progress and plan accordingly for individualization. Promote a healthy and safe environment for the children at all times.  Work in collaboration with teacher's assistants developing lessons and arranging materials for lessons.  Work in collaboration with the families to extend learning at home.  Participate in meetings and conferences.  

Qualifications:

Provisional or Permanent Certification in Early Childhood.  More than two years experience working with ages 3-5 of children of various ethnicities.  Liable and responsible.  Enthusiastic, energetic and creative with strong work ethics.  Adheres to the Code of Ethics of NAEYC.  Able to lift up to 10 pounds.
