Looking for Full Time PKFA Teacher Assistants

Location: Jackson Heights, NY

We are looking for creative, nurturing and loving individuals to work in our PKFA Classrooms.

Hours are 8:00-3:30 pm plus two days of afterschool from 3:00-6:00 pm for extra monthly salary

10 month program with additional Salary to work Summer Months.

Responsibilities:

Assisting Lead Teachers with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the PKFCC, Program Quality Standards/ EFQ and Positive Behavior Guidance.

Supporting student needs and assisting in day to day activities.

Qualifications:

Minimum of GED or High School Diploma (plus for some college coursework)

NYS Teaching Assistant Certificate

+1 year Experience in PKFA Full Day Program

Fingerprinted in DOHMH and DOE
