We are a small, non-denominational preschool in Manhattan. We are looking for an Associate Teacher starting September 2019. This is a half-day position, Mondays 8:30 to 2:30 and T-F 8:30 to 12:30. Our salaries are competitive with a full benefits package including sick days and health coverage. Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree at a minimum in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience with teaching preschool preferred. Would love candidates who are interested in Early Childhood Literacy or Arts Education.

Responsibilities:

Teach, attend staff meetings and team meeting, help with prep, curriculum planning, work with children one on one, in small groups or full groups according to one's experience. Participate in Parent Teacher Conferences twice a year. Cover lunch with children 2-3 times a week from 12:00-12:30.

Qualifications:

BA in Early Childhood or Related Field a must

MA in Early Childhood a plus

Experience with preschool age children and in preschool classrooms
