Description:

Provide one to one instruction, play scaffolding and language facilitation within a group to a bilingual child with language delay in a 5 year old classroom. Our school is located on 60th and Park Avenue in Manhattan.

Responsibilities:

Work out a schedule for up to 10 hours per week within 9-12 Monday through Friday. Play a role within a team of 3 other classroom teachers to help identified student integrate within a regular classroom. Work to promote goals on the child's IFSP, keep parents and other related service professionals informed of child's progress.

Qualifications:

Must meet the board of education qualification for a SETTS teacher: degree in 0-2 or birth - 6 special education plus experience. You submit payment vouchers to the Board of Education to get paid. Rate of pay is determined by Board of Education.
