Immediate Positions available for Preschool Special Education Teachers

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and foundation of the different disabilities as well as execute different instructional and behavioral strategies
  • Ability to differentiate and individualize curriculum to meet the needs of the students according to their IEPs
  • Ability to write student's IEP and Educational progress reports
  • Ability to evaluate, assess and observe children’s progress throughout the year
  • Must be supportive, creative, flexible and compassionate
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the needs of special education children and working toward enhancing student achievement.
  • Computer Literate 
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus

Qualifications:

NYS Certification in Special Education Birth - Grade 2
