Description:

Catholic academy in Astoria, Queens is looking for a Pre-K For All Education Director.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day to day operations of the program
Supervise a staff of 12 teachers and aides
Ensure compliance with NYC DOHMH and NYC DOE
Continuous communication with staff and families
Ensure a safe and healthy environment

Qualifications:

NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education (B-2, Students with Disabilities B-2, Pre-K - 6th)
Minimum 2-5 years preschool teaching experience (preferably UPK)
Knowledge of Pre-K For All program
Strong leadership, supervisory and customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
