Description:

JCC Brooklyn at Windsor Terrace , a progressive play based curriculum preschool, is seeking for mature, reliable teacher to assist in our after school program, and be available to Substitute Monday-Friday 8am-3pm years old. Experience with this age group is required for all candidates. Experience in a daycare / preschool classroom setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Our teachers will be helping the head teachers plan and implement learning experiences that advance the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development of children within a safe, healthy learning environment.

Must be able to potty train, teach students cognitive, social emotional, and engage in / monitor child centered play.

Qualifications:

High School or working toward a BA degree in ECE
Able to work as a substitute teacher during the day or afternoon assistant.
Applicants must have at least 1- 2 years of experience working with children

Additional Information:

Must work all 5 days Monday - Friday from 3:00-6pm .

Plus availability to substitute 8am-3:00 on an as needed basis .
