Supermoon Art Space & Playschool is a small community art center and early childhood center in Ridgewood Queens. We are currently seeking a Group Teacher/Education Director. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate, proactive, creative and works well in a team. Our children are ages 2-4 years old. All qualified candidates of various backgrounds/identifies are encouraged to apply. Hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm at $24/h.

Responsibilities:

supervision of children, maintaining safety, emergent curriculum reflection and planning, displaying art work, communicating with families/staff/children, maintaining cleaniness and organization of rooms and materials, assisting with child's basic needs (meals, potty/diaper, etc), participation in meetings/trainings.

Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements:

Degree in Early Childhood Education (Birth-2^nd Grade)

New York State certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth-2^nd Grade)

3 reference letters from previous employers

Fingerprint clearance
