Assistant Teacher for UPK Classroom

Description:

We are a new daycare center operating in Sunset Park serving children from the ages of 2-5 years old. We are looking for energetic, engaging assistant teachers for our Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain primary care responsibilities for assigned classroom children and families; follow guidance and leadership of a Lead Teacher.
• Model developmentally appropriate activities and positive behavior management techniques through daily contact with children and early childhood staff in the classroom.
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom.
• Assist in managing classroom procedures including transitions, routines and small groups
• Translating and coaching children throughout the day. 

Qualifications:
