Educational Director/Teacher

Description:

An expending early childhood center is looking for an infant/toddler teacher. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, punctual, reliable, responsible and has interest in early childhood education. The candidate MUST have a BA in early childhood education or at least 90 (NOT LESS) credits towards completion of a BA in early childhood, while also holding an AA degree in early childhood. We are looking for educated candidates with interest and LOVE of early childhood education, with a flexible schedule. 

Responsibilities:

Some responsibilities include:

Plan and conduct an effective child development program to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of each child. This should be done based on the goals and general curriculum plan of Little Scholars Learning Center.

Ensure safety of infants/toddlers through constant supervision, effective arrangement of space, proper maintanance of equipment,and operate the classroom with all child care licensing standards.

Develop positive relationship and communication with parents and staff, with a strong ability to work as a part of a team. 

Maintain written records of childrens progress and daily schedule.

Initiate classroom activities daily. 

Contribute to the operation of the center by participating in staff meetings and attending professional development workshops.
